Windows Key/D
This will clear your applications and bring up desktop...toggle to get back to apps
Control/C
Copy
Control/V
Paste
Control/N
Brings up a new page in any application
Alt/Tab
Moves you through all open windows on desktop


Shift/Alt/D
Inserts date in a MS Office Document
Print Screen
A lot of people seem to forget that on a PC all you have to do is hit the Print Screen key in the top right sector of the keyboard. Then go to document where you want to see the screen print and paste it in.
Want to highlight a sentence in Word?
Just click in the left margin next to the sentence. Then hit control and left click.
Quick Email Text
If you like to compose your email messages in MS Word, there is a faster route than copying and pasting into your email program. Just select File/SendTo/Mail Recipient and it will do that for you, either in the text window or as an attachment, depending on your program.
Auto Summarize
This feature in Word is often overlooked. To to Tools/Auto Summarize. It will highlight or select main points according to your choices.
Want to get to Control Panel from IE Browser?
In the address window, type control panel\component, such as control panel\display and Voila!
