In 1979, Dr. Fountain founded Austin Bilingual Language Editions (ABLE) to publish titles for children in Spanish and English, bibliographies, and materials about readability in Spanish. Dr. Fountain still operates ABLE, but in 1990 founded another company -- Bibliotechnics -- through which Dr. Fountain provides professional librarian services. These include:
