Alejandro Latinez, Ph.D. Vanderbilt University (2006). Assistant Professor of Spanish.

Contemporary Latin American Literature and culture (Interdisciplinary Studies, including Economy and Sociology); Comparative Studies between Brazilian and Spanish American Literature; Narratives of Identity; Spanish as Second Language.

My current research focuses on Octavio Paz, Samuel Ramos, and modern Mexico.
